Description

A peace loving man, on his way to the task he knows God has given him. A preacher, recently out of China by way of Santa Fe, off to begin a school and church in the scrub town of Phoenix, with nary a problem asleep in the saddle, is captured by the very people he had been sent to serve. A chief called Blue takes him captive. Blue captivated by the stories the man of God tells him. A young white captive and an Apache youth cling to the preacher. But, there is an enemy in the picture. The preacher, Blue, and the boys are in danger from Apache and the U.S. Cavalry.

    The author lives in beautiful downtown Witch Well, AZ, between the Navajo and the Apache. He lives with his wife, Patti, and the dogs. Six adult children are have left home. A 20 year vet aboard submarines gave him time conjure many stories. This is one of them.
